hello!

so my message is concerning a matter of copyright and all that jazz. but before i get into that, i'd like to introduce myself; i'm sara and i'm an aspiring writer. there is a site that i go onto that has a writing forum in which i post novels onto. On this specific forum, most writers have a thing called "banners" or book covers, if you will. what the majority of us do is take photos from here, deviantArt, and edit them with putting the title of our story on it. i've been doing this for myself and many others for months now, and just this moment has it been banned (on that forum) unless we get permission from the artist.

Now, i've come here to ask for 1) forgiveness and 2) your permission. see, on of my novels is called "Ocean Man" and i was on here a while back...say...three, four months ago, i'm guessing, looking for the perfect image. when i saw your image entitled "Hold Me" with a woman grasping onto a man in a pool, i immediately fell in love. I used your image without your approval, and that is why i am sorry. I really wish i had asked you, or even commented on the image, but i didnt. so, again, i'm really sorry for that and hope you can forgive me!(:

the other thing is...i love your image and i still think it's the perfect banner for the story. I was wondering if you gave me the permission to keep that image, with my editions still on it!, for my banner on that site with the added owner of the image being you credit.

if you could reply to this as soon as possible (they're deleting all the banners in a matter of days if i don't get a copyright permission)i would be greatly gratified. also, if you dont mind, could you reply to my email: "ssharin7@yahoo.com".
